I create “Portrait” or “Look-A-Like” dolls from existing porcelain doll molds.  Also, it is my interpretation of the photo(s) of the individual.  They are not exact duplicates of the individual and they are not hand sculpted.  However, I do try and capture the details that are apparent in the photos.  
    Many other factors go into making a “Portrait” doll such as, hair, eyes, teeth, etc.  I will try to achieve the resemblance as close to the photo as possible. Please know, there are only so many shades of color and styles in doll wigs.  Also, doll wigs are made thick; therefore, it is quite a challenge to create a baby/child with very thin hair.  Eyes for dolls also come in a limited range of colors and may not be an exact color of the individual.  Again, I will be very selective in trying to acquire the results you desire. 

    Average cost of creating a “Portrait Doll” varies according to size, clothing, complexity, etc.
